In 2014 we did our very first cross continental roadtrip as a family in our 2008 Lexus LX570. We travelled from Toronto to California and back.
During our time in San Francisco we visited Pier 39. There our youngest daughter, then 7 years old, wanted us to get her a tie-dyed teddy bear being sold by one of the gift shops. For the rest of the trip she carried that bear everywhere we went - every hike, tourist attraction, restaurant, hotel, and yes she even took to the bathroom. As we discused what to name the bear, it became obvious that it should be called the 'Everywhere Bear' as it went everywhere.
Since 2014, the Everywhere Bear has been on every single trip we have taken - camping trips, road trips, vacations, flights, boats - everywhere.
